PNN – Acknowledging that his country has not made any official contact with the new American government, Pakistan’s foreign minister emphasized: Islamabad is not facing any pressure from Washington, and if such pressure is applied, we will not accept it.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Pakistani media, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, announced at the end of his trip to New York that an extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held in Jeddah on March 7, during which the situation in Gaza, especially the US President’s plan for the forced relocation of Palestinians, will be discussed.

Pakistan’s deputy prime minister also announced his upcoming visit to Kabul, citing security and border challenges facing Afghanistan and said: The visit will be aimed at reminding the Taliban of international commitments and we want Afghanistan not to allow its territory to be used against Pakistan.
He also said regarding the escalation of border attacks by the terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan that Pakistan has repeatedly asked the caretaker government of the Taliban to curb the terrorist groups and we will continue to pressure them in this regard.
Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar said Pakistan is committed to helping boost Afghanistan’s economic development by implementing connectivity projects between Central Asia and Pakistan through Kabul.
