PNN – The Deposed Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is in prison these days in connection with several judicial and security cases, in an unprecedented memo from behind the bars, described how to overthrow his government after openly opposing the excesses of the United States and not being burdened by the American military presence in the soil of Pakistan.
According to Pakistan News Network, Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) political party, who held the prime minister’s seat, has been in prison since this summer due to numerous cases of financial, political and security corruption.
Also, in recent weeks, he was disqualified from participating in the upcoming elections by the Election Commission of Pakistan due to financial conviction and being found guilty in the case of revealing the country’s confidential secrets.
The eligibility of many members of Imran Khan’s party has also been rejected by the Election Commission of Pakistan due to supporting his policies and being accused of anti-national actions or controversial statements.
However, the Supreme Court of this country ordered the aforementioned commission to review the appeals of the election candidates of the Tehreek-e-Insaaf Party and to avoid any unnecessary measures to prevent them from participating in the election contests.
In this situation, the deposed Prime Minister of Pakistan, in an unprecedented note from behind the bars, expressed his disappointment with what he called the selective approach of the caretaker government and the powerful army of this country against his party and wrote: The PTI party remains popular and enjoys 66 percent popular support in Pakistan according to recent international polls.
He accused the Election Commission of Pakistan of disrupting the work and added: This institution desperately deprives members of the Tehreek-e-Insaaf Party of the right to participate in the elections, engages in all kinds of illegal tricks, and the courts seem to be losing their credibility every day.
Imran Khan wrote that he has always followed an independent foreign policy for Pakistan, and at the top of it, he did not come under the pressure of the United States to enter into new conflicts in the region, especially the provision of military bases for the United States on Pakistani soil.

He added that he had categorically stated that we want friendly cooperation with everyone, but we will not enter into any war on behalf of others.
The leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaaf Party added: The huge losses that Pakistan suffered in cooperation with the “American War on Terrorism” resulted in the deaths of 80,000 security forces and Pakistani civilians.
He wrote how a senior official of the US State Department threatened him in a meeting with the then Pakistani ambassador in Washington and said that if Imran Khan steps down, the US will forgive all the shortcomings of Pakistan.
This American official demanded to end the motion of no confidence against an elected prime minister in Pakistan, and finally this motion reached the parliament with the cooperation of the then army commander and intelligence agencies, and the movements against my government were keyed.
The deposed Prime Minister of Pakistan accused some of the traditional parties of Pakistan, including Nawaz Sharif, who returned to the country after four years of exile, of colluding with the army and added: It seems that Mr. Nawaz Sharif has reached an agreement with the establishment and for this reason he was acquitted of all major corruption cases and his punishments were canceled.
He added: The establishment has come to the conclusion that I cannot return to power, so all means were used to remove me from the political atmosphere of Pakistan. There were two attempts on my life. My party leaders, activists and social media officials of the party were kidnapped, jailed or tortured and even pressured to leave Pakistan, along with fellow journalists.
Imran Khan added: In this situation, elections may be held on February 8. All parties except the “Tehreek-e-Insaaf” party are allowed to freely participate in the elections. I am still in solitary confinement on frivolous charges that include treason. The few leaders of our party who are free are not even allowed to hold local meetings.
In the end, he wrote: The only way forward for Pakistan is fair and free elections, which will bring political stability, rule of law, as well as reforms that are badly needed by a democratic government in accordance with the aspirations of the people, so there is no other way for Pakistan.
The upcoming elections of Pakistan will be held on February 8, 2023. This voting will include the elections of the National Assembly and four state assemblies in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan.
