Pak Sahafat – The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan considered the strengthening of the unity of the Islamic world as a basic solution to address common challenges and said: The Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan play an important role in confronting the phenomenon of Islamophobia.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, “Sirajul Haq” today in the city of “Lahore” during a meeting with “Reza Amiri Moghadam”, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, exchanged views on the latest developments related to bilateral relations, regional issues and the Islamic world.
A number of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan officials and Mehran Mohdfar, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore, were also present in this meeting.
Siraj-ul-Haq welcomed the resumption of bilateral relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and considered its consequences for the region and the Islamic world. He added that today the Islamic world needs to strengthen relations and unity and this is considered a basic solution to address common challenges.

Appreciating the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the oppressed nations, especially the support to the people of Palestine and Kashmir, he said: Tehran and Islamabad should increase their joint cooperation to help the Muslim nations.
The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan said: Tehran and Islamabad play a significant role in confronting the phenomenon of Islamophobia, and for this, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should also use its capacities to deal with the challenges faced by Muslims and confront anti-Islamism.
The public relations of Jamaat-e-Islami party in Lahore city quoted the Iranian ambassador’s statement and stated: Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressing his satisfaction with the role of the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami in strengthening the Islamic alliance, said that the fraternal relations between Iran and Pakistan will strengthen more with the passage of time.
Amiri Moghadam expressed hope that the governments of Iran and Pakistan will increase joint cooperation to ensure common interests and welfare of each other’s nations.
