Pakistan and China signed several cooperation documents

PNN – At the same time as the official visit of the President of Pakistan to China, several cooperation documents were signed in Beijing with the presence of the leaders of the two countries.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the public relations of the Presidential Palace of Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing.

After the bilateral meeting, the parties entered into official negotiations with their high-ranking delegations.

The President of Pakistan called this country’s commitment to support China’s regional and international positions as strong and stable.

Asif Ali Zardari and Xi Jinping, while reviewing the latest developments related to bilateral relations, also exchanged views on various regional and international issues.

The President of Pakistan added: Pakistan is determined to strengthen its comprehensive strategic partnership with China and welcomes any initiative to expand bilateral relations in all circumstances.

Zardari described the Pakistan-China Joint Economic Corridor project as a brilliant example of cooperation between the two countries and the visionary concept of the Belt and Road Project and said that the beginning of the second phase of the joint economic venture plays a vital role in promoting regional connections, benefits and common prosperity, including in partnership with other countries.

In the continuation of this meeting, several cooperation documents were signed in the presence of the leaders of Pakistan and China, the purpose of which is to expand interactions between them in the fields of science and technology, media, clean energy and social and economic development projects.
