Pakistan condemned Israel’s anti-Iranian threats/Islamabad’s emphasis on the just revival of JCPOA

PNN – While condemning the threats of the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan emphasized the need to revive the nuclear agreement with fair conditions and said that the JCPOA can be an important help to stabilize peace and security in the Middle East.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, from the public relations office of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, during his trip to New York, explained the latest positions of the Pakistani government regarding the developments in Gaza, Israel’s aggression in the region, the Iran nuclear deal, the situation in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Kashmir during a meeting with the presence of permanent representatives and ambassadors of Islamic countries in the United Nations.

Condemning Israel’s hostile positions against Iran, he said that Pakistan is very worried about the reported threats of the Zionist regime to carry out more attacks against Iran.

Ishaq Dar emphasized that Israel’s growing threats will be a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.

He said: Despite the hostile rhetoric, we hope that all parties will seek to revive the JCPOA on fair terms because this should significantly contribute to the realization of lasting peace and security throughout the Middle East.

Referring to the developments in Gaza and condemning the flagrant violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and South Lebanon, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister added: We are facing a great collective challenge in the Middle East. The Gaza war has had disastrous consequences for the Palestinian nation. We must collectively work to protect the interests of Palestine and the principles and goals of the Islamic-Arab Ummah.

He continued: In the Islamic world, we must dissuade Israel and its supporters from reviving the Gaza war. We must also strongly oppose the proposals to expel Palestinians from our land.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister said: At the same time, we must take specific steps to end the campaign of violence and displacement of Palestinians by Israel in the West Bank, to consolidate our common position in opposition to the plans of the Zionist extremists to annex the West Bank and to secure the solution to the formation of an independent Palestinian state.

He also said about the developments in Syria: Pakistan supports stabilization in Syria through a comprehensive political process with the UN as a facilitator.
