Pakistan: Terrorist groups in Afghanistan are a threat to the neighbors and the world

Pak Sahafat – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister considered the increasing threat of the Pakistani Taliban and ISIS in Afghanistan as the biggest concern of Islamabad and said: The terrorist groups that are expanding in Afghanistan should be considered as a threat to the neighbors and the international community.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Wednesday night, from the Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, “Jalil Abbas Jilani” said in his speech at the meeting of the Asian Society of New York: The biggest concern for Pakistan right now is the increasing threat posed by the terrorist groups Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and ISIS, especially their ability to use Afghanistan’s territory to attack us.

He added: Islamabad is in close contact with the interim ruling body of Afghanistan regarding the phenomenon of terrorism and we are committed to fight against terrorists and defeat them.

The foreign minister of the interim government of Pakistan said: We emphasize that the terrorist groups that are trying to strengthen their foothold in Afghanistan should be considered as a threat to the neighbors and the entire international community.

He added: After Afghanistan itself, Pakistan with its regional and international partners contributes the most to the goals of peace in Afghanistan, and this goal is at the center of our efforts to directly interact with the interim government of Afghanistan and also cooperate with the international community regarding Afghanistan.

Jilani said: “Pakistan is aligned with society in expressing concerns about human rights violations in Afghanistan, and we will raise issues such as women’s rights, girls’ education, and women’s employment with the Afghan Taliban.”

He said: In addition to various issues and political developments, preventing the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan should also be our priority, so we should remove political considerations in this field.
