The intense attacks of the Israeli regime in Gaza after the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7 led to the martyrdom of more than 17 thousand Palestinians in Gaza, most of whom are civilians. These statistics are increasing especially with the expansion of the Israeli regime’s operations to the southern Gaza region.

In this statement, it is stated: “Despite invoking Article 99 of the UN Charter by the UN Secretary General and his warnings about the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, the Security Council has failed to fulfill its main responsibility to maintain international peace and security.

Pakistan declared that the collective punishment of the people of Gaza was “unacceptable”.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia also criticized the United States on Saturday for vetoing the UN Security Council resolution that called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said: “On behalf of the Malaysian government, I want to strongly condemn and protest America’s decision to oppose the ceasefire in the Security Council.”
