Referring to last week’s visit by the Saudi Defense Minister to Tehran and his meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Abbas Nasser said: The Arabs of the region are aware of the extremely devastating consequences of a US confrontation with Iran and would never want such a conflict. Unlike them, Israel had plotted to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, although Trump opposed it.
He added: Iran has made it clear that it is willing to make any “reasonable” agreement, meaning it may return to the principles of the previous nuclear agreement, but it will not be ready to “dismantle” its peaceful programs. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s red lines remain in place.
