Pakistani Foreign Minister wishes success to Iran-US indirect talks

PNN – In a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, while appreciating Dr. Syed Abbas Araghchi’s visit to Islamabad, said that Tehran and Islamabad have always stood in solidarity with each other and that we wish success to the (indirect) nuclear talks between Iran and the United States.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and members of the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon their arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad by Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan.

After the private meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries, a meeting of high-level delegations from Iran and Pakistan began, headed by Dr. Araghchi and Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The Pakistani Foreign Minister initially said that we thank my brother Mr. Araqchi for his presence in Islamabad at this critical time and emphasize that both countries have always stood by each other in support and solidarity.

Referring to the three rounds of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, he said that we are fully aware of your intensive schedule during the talks and that Islamabad is closely following this important process.

Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan supported efforts to resolve the issues and we wish success to the (indirect) negotiations between Iran and the United States.
