Pakistani MP: Yemenis stand firm against US and British aggression

PNN – Condemning the new US and British attacks on the provinces of Sanaa and Saada in Yemen, the Pakistani senator called for the Islamic Ummah to play a role in stopping the crimes in this Islamic country, emphasizing that the Yemenis have never surrendered to these aggressions and are steadfast in the face of arrogance.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Senator Allama Nasser Abbas Jafari issued a statement and announced: We strongly condemn the unjust and brutal aggression launched by the United States and Britain against the people of Yemen at the behest of US President Donald Trump.

He added: This is not a new war, but an extension of the relentless suffering that has been imposed on the Yemeni people for years; yet the spirit of the Yemenis is unbreakable and they are steadfast in the face of the aggressors.

The Pakistani parliamentarian stated: The only reason for the crime against the Yemeni people is their refusal to surrender to oppression and their unwavering support for the oppressed, including the innocent civilians of Gaza who continue to endure the horrific attacks of the Israeli regime.

He added: Despite their suffering, the Yemenis have stood firm against the oppression of the Zionists and the imperialist plans in the region led by America.

Senator Jafari emphasized: History has proven that brutal aggression cannot crush the spirit of a people fighting for justice. If war alone could guarantee victory, the Zionist regime would have crushed the Palestinian resistance long ago or Lebanon would have surrendered, but the resistance of the oppressed will always prevail over the power of the aggressors.

The chairman of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Party, while expressing solidarity with the people of Yemen and other oppressed nations in the region, called on the international community, especially the Islamic Ummah, to stand with the Yemenis and play a role in stopping the aggressors.

The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs in the US attacks on the country has increased to 23. Most of the martyrs and wounded in these attacks are women and children.
