PNN – Political leaders, heads of political parties and religious figures of Pakistan, while renewing their pledge to Palestinian ideals and supporting the Al-Aqsa storm operation against the Zionist regime, called for practical steps from the Islamic world to support the people of Gaza and effective military-defense diplomacy to support the Palestinian battle against Israel.Â
According to the report of Pakistan News Netwok on Tuesday, Pakistan’s party leaders condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians at the joint conference of the parties titled “The Palestine Issue and Responsibilities of the Islamic World” hosted by the Jamaat-e-Islami Party in Islamabad.
The first level figures of Pakistani parties, religious groups, representatives of the Senate, senior Shia and Sunni scholars, former diplomats and media figures of Pakistan participated in this gathering.
The speakers appreciated the support of the Islamic world to Palestine, especially the unique assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the axis of resistance in Jerusalem. Seifur Rahman Khan from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party stated that Iran’s aid to Palestine and their support for the Palestinian resistance fight against the Zionist occupation regime is a model for all of us and all rulers of Islamic countries.
He emphasized: Today, we must support the Palestinian resistance groups openly and clearly, just like Iran; Of course, some rulers of Muslim countries in the region still have an ambiguous approach towards Palestine, while they have committed to establishing relations with Israel.
Emphasizing the role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to open a humanitarian corridor to send aid to Gaza, Pakistani figures emphasized: The eyes of the Palestinian fighters are focused on the support of the Muslim world, so the Muslim rulers should engage in defense and military diplomacy to support Palestine in the war against Israel.
By blaming the silence of the international assemblies regarding the continuation of the bombing of Gaza by Israel and the Zionist occupation, they condemned the West’s support for Israel’s invasion.
Liaqat Baloch, the vice-chairman of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, said: Palestine belongs to the Palestinians, and the entire Muslim world, including the people of Pakistan, supports the legitimate struggle of all Palestinian resistance groups, including Hamas, with power.
Ahsan Iqbal, Secretary General of Muslim League-Nawaz, criticized the Western world’s dual approach towards Muslims and the Palestinian conflict, and said: The invasion of the occupying regime of Israel never means defense or deterrence, but rather, the Zionists seek the genocide of the Palestinians and the expansion of the occupation on the Palestinian land.
He added: Israel does not adhere to any international law or norms, and we are witnessing the West’s blind support of the Zionists’ anti-human approach, so the current situation is a test for all nations, including the Islamic world.
Syed Nir Hussain Bukhari, the former Speaker of the Senate and Secretary General of the Pakistan People’s Party, called for the diplomacy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation with the members of the United Nations Security Council, especially contact with China and Russia, and added: Freedom and having an independent country is the legitimate and definite right of the Palestinians.
Allama “Muhammad Amin Shahidi”, the head of the United Ummah group in Pakistan, also said in a speech: “The devastating operation of Al-Aqsa storm in Gaza proved that Israel has no security and deterrence, and everything that flows from the Western powers in the form of arms aid to the occupied Palestine is against the power of Palestinians and resistance groups are zero.
At the end of this national conference, Sirajul Haq, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, by reading the 14-article resolution that was approved by the participants, emphasized the continuation of the diplomatic, political and moral support of the government and people of Pakistan to Palestine and said: We political forces and representatives The people of Pakistan strongly condemn the support of the West and the arrogant powers against Israel.
This resolution states: stable peace and security in West Asia and the Middle East depends only on the resolution of the Palestinian issue, therefore the international community must fulfill its duty to implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council on the formation of an independent Palestinian state with Quds Sharif as its capital.
Siraj al-Haq also condemned America and Europe’s support for Israel in escalating violence and crimes against the Palestinian people and warned: Americans should stop supporting Israel’s crimes; otherwise Muslim nations will spontaneously surround the interests of America and its allies.
