Pakistani Prime Minister expresses condolences over Shahid Rajaee Port incident

PNN – Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed his condolences to the nation and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the explosion in Shahid Rajaee Port.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Public Relations Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif said in a message that Pakistan stands with the nation and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in these difficult moments.

He expressed regret over the loss of a number of Iranian citizens in the Shahid Rajaee Port incident and wished good health to those injured in the incident.

The large explosion that occurred at the “Shahid Rajaee Pier” in Bandar Abbas has so far left four dead and 516 injured, but there is no exact information about the cause of the accident.

Mohammad Mudassar Tipu, Pakistan’s ambassador to Tehran, also expressed his sadness over the explosion in Shahid Rajaee Port and his solidarity with the victims, stressing: “Pakistan stands with full strength with Iran in these difficult moments.”
