PNN – Referring to the bilateral and regional consultations with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the President of Turkey said: Our joint efforts to support the people of Gaza and the formation of an independent Palestine state will continue.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Shahbaz Sharif and Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday, after the signing ceremony of the memorandum and cooperation documents between the two countries in Islamabad, emphasized the mutual commitment to support each other in discussing bilateral and regional issues.
Appreciating Türkiye’s strong support for the people of Kashmir, the Prime Minister of Pakistan said: Islamabad has a strong commitment to continue supporting Ankara in the issue of Northern Cyprus.
He said that terrorism is a common problem of Pakistan and Turkey and that our fight against terrorism continues and we ask our neighboring country Afghanistan to cooperate with Pakistan to defeat it instead of spreading terrorism.

Shahbaz Sharif added that important documents were signed for the development of close cooperation with Turkey in the fields of defense, military, economy, media and tourism, and Pakistan is ready to cooperate with Erdogan’s government to implement and operationalize these agreements.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also said that he had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan about the latest regional developments and that the two countries are determined to strengthen each other’s support in the war against terrorism.
He appreciated Pakistan’s support to Turkey against terrorist groups such as PKK, ISIS and FATU and added: Islamabad and Ankara’s support for the people of Gaza and the formation of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital will continue.
The President of Türkiye stated that our joint efforts were made in multilateral forums for Palestine and this process is being strengthened.
Erdogan emphasized that new measures will be taken by the two countries to increase the volume of bilateral trade to 5 billion dollars, and in this regard, the Pakistan-Turkey Business Forum will be held in Islamabad today.
In this meeting, the heads of Pakistan and Turkey also expressed their deep concern over the unprecedented loss of lives and property, as well as the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians as a result of the aggression of the Israeli regime.
