PNN – At the same time as the border tensions between Islamabad and Kabul continue, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif warned that the country will give a strong response to any aggression from the other side of the border.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Pakistan National TV, Shahbaz Sharif, during a statement at today’s meeting of the high-level military-security committee known as the “National Action Plan Committee” in Islamabad, added: Terrorist elements are attacking the people of Pakistan from across the borders and this situation is never acceptable
The statement comes as the interim government in Kabul strongly rejected the Pakistani defense minister’s recent remarks about the Afghan Taliban’s financial demand for the transfer of terrorist group elements across the border.
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif recently claimed that Kabul had demanded Rs 10 billion in exchange for Islamabad’s request to move Pakistani Taliban elements from the country’s borders.
