Prime Minister Shehbaz vows to defeat terrorism as security forces repel major attacks in Balochistan

PNN: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid homage to 10 security personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty in Balochistan, reaffirming that the fight against terrorism will continue until it is completely eradicated.

The prime minister praised officers and troops of the security forces for thwarting attempts by Fitna-e-Hindustan to destabilize peace in the province and for decisively defeating hostile designs. He commended their professionalism in countering coordinated attacks at 12 locations across Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin, Pasni, and Gwadar, during which 58 terrorists were eliminated.

He further lauded the armed forces for killing 88 Indian-backed terrorists in multiple operations over the past 48 hours. Offering prayers for the martyrs, the prime minister sought elevation in rank for the fallen soldiers and patience for their grieving families. He said the nation takes immense pride in its martyrs, adding that the security forces continue to defend the country selflessly.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also strongly condemned the terrorist incidents in Balochistan and praised security forces and law enforcement agencies for successfully foiling the attacks. He saluted the courage of the soldiers who crushed the militants’ plans.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute as well, stating that Pakistan’s security forces have broken the backbone of the Indian-sponsored terrorist network, leaving militants in disarray. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also commended the forces, saying the martyred personnel sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland, a debt the nation can never repay.
