PNN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said that the enemies of the country will never succeed in their nefarious designs, paying tribute to security forces for their actions against terrorists in Balochistan.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the PTI chairman praised the security forces for destroying terrorists of what he termed “Fitna-al-Hindustan.” He offered prayers for the martyred soldiers, expressing hope that they would be granted the highest ranks in heaven.
Barrister Gohar said the sacrifices of the armed forces would not go in vain and reiterated that hostile elements seeking to destabilize Pakistan would fail.
According to official sources, security forces killed 133 terrorists during operations conducted over two days in Balochistan. In the Awan area, 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, were neutralized. Fifteen soldiers embraced martyrdom while taking part in the operation.
Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said India was behind terrorist activities in Pakistan, claiming the government possessed evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism in Balochistan.
Speaking to the media alongside Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the interior minister said India was supporting terrorist elements operating in the province.
