According to the orders issued by the Punjab government, Section 144 will be enforced in Multan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Vehari, Pakpattan, Okara, and Wazirabad.

This will prohibit all forms of political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, demonstrations, protests, and similar activities.

The measure will be in effect for three days in the eight districts, from Thursday, October 10, to Saturday, October 12.

He further mentioned that, considering security threats, any public gathering could be a soft target for terrorists, and the orders have been issued to maintain law and order and protect human lives and property.
