Shahbaz Sharif: The memory of Ayatollah Raisi’s trip to Pakistan will always be alive

PNN – After attending the ceremony to pay tribute to the martyred President of Iran and other martyrs in Tehran, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif said: The memory of Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to Pakistan will always be alive for our people.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the statement of the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan, in Tehran, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif paid his respects to the body of Martyr President Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir abdollahian and their companions while attending the summit hall.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Interior, Minister of Information, Minister of Commerce and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan accompanied Shehbaz Sharif in this ceremony.

It is stated in this statement: After paying respect to the bodies of the martyrs of the helicopter crash, the Prime Minister of Pakistan met with the Acting President of Iran Dr. Mohammad Mokhbar and conveyed the message of deep condolences and sympathy to the people and government of Pakistan.

He added: “The hearts of all Pakistani people are wounded by the tragedy of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his colleagues, and we stand by our Iranian brothers in this difficult time.”

Shahbaz Sharif said: The late president of Iran was a great friend of Pakistan and the memory of Ayatollah Raisi’s visit to Pakistan will always remain alive for our people.

He also wished the acting president of Iran, the government and the people of this country pride, success, prosperity and development.

The government of Pakistan announced a day of national mourning in mourning the martyrdom of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation. The flag of Pakistan in Islamabad and the capitals of four states of this country was raised at half-mast. The state governments in Sindh and Balochistan also declared yesterday as a day of public mourning following the central government.
