Speaker of Pakistan Parliament: The world’s silence regarding the genocide of the people of Gaza is a slap on the face of global justice

PNN – The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan considered the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes against the Palestinians during the month of Ramadan as a disgrace to the supporters of the aggressor regime and the reformed civilized countries and said: The world’s silence regarding the genocide of the people of Gaza is a slap on the world peace and justice system.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, from the public relations of the Parliament of Pakistan, during a speech at the 148th meeting of the Union of International Assemblies in Geneva, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza by emphasizing the continuous support of the government, people and parliament of Pakistan for the struggle of the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation.

He called the international community’s silence and behavior towards the Palestinian genocide criminal and added: The continuation of Israel’s crimes has disgraced the hypocrites and reformed civilized nations because Israel’s aggression and massacres take place under the shadow of international institutions.

Ayaz Sadegh expressed regret for the plight of the Palestinian people and Kashmiri Muslims, and demanded a strong response from the countries of the region and the world to stop the crimes of the invaders and provide life and financial security for the oppressed and occupied nations.

He described the parliaments as representatives and spokespersons of the people and nations and added: We ask the international community to play its role to stop the genocide of Palestinians, and the Islamic world should also be aware of the conspiracy of the leaders of the Zionist regime in intensifying attacks against Palestine and expanding the occupation.

The World Inter-Parliamentary Union was established as the largest parliamentary body with more than 180 members from the world’s parliaments since 1889. This session of the assembly is being held in Geneva with the slogan “parliamentary diplomacy, building a bridge for peace and understanding”.

In this year’s meeting, this assembly is supposed to approve resolutions in the field of emergency issues and the issue presented by the International Peace and Security Committee under the title of “Attention to the social and human effects of automatic weapon systems and artificial intelligence”.

Another plan was proposed by the Sustainable Development Committee under the title “Participation in Climate Action: Developing Access to Clean and Affordable Energy and Ensuring Innovation, Responsibility and Equity” and is under review and approval.
