The Guardian’s account of the continued impasse in relations between Imran Khan and the ruling faction of Pakistan

PNN – While the deposed prime minister of Pakistan has once again called his supporters to a large demonstration in Islamabad, the British Guardian newspaper reported on the continuation of the deadlock in the relationship between Imran Khan and the ruling faction of this country and wrote that the government of Pakistan has no intention of giving up on him.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Imran Khan, whose full name is Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, who took power as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan since the summer, is currently in prison.

He was imprisoned due to accusations in numerous financial, political and security corruption cases, and despite being acquitted of several charges, he is still imprisoned due to other judicial cases.

An anti-terrorism court in the city of Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is also going to declare crimes against the deposed prime minister and some of his party members in the case of the attack on the army headquarters.

At the same time, the Pakistani media, citing the report of the English newspaper Guardian, said: The impasse between Imran Khan and the government of Pakistan, which is headed by the army leadership, continues and shows no sign of abating.

The Guardian quoted high-ranking Pakistani military sources as saying: The army has no intention of negotiating with Imran Khan and entering into a joint agreement.

Imran Khan said in response to the Guardian newspaper, which sent questions through the legal team of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan in prison: In dealing with the military, any engagement will be based on principles and in the interest of the people, not personal interests or compromises that undermine Pakistan’s democratic values.

He added: I prefer to live in prison until the end of my life than to compromise on my principles.

According to this report, in the continuation of the opposition faction’s confrontation with the government of Pakistan, Imran Khan, the imprisoned Prime Minister of this country, called his supporters to hold another demonstration and asked them to march towards Islamabad on November 24. He asked his supporters to march against the recent reforms in the constitution, the judicial system and the laws of the armed forces and not to leave Islamabad until the desired results are achieved.
