Mark Zuckerberg terms Apple’s Vision Pro ‘worse in many ways’

Mark Zuckerberg has once again criticised Apple’s Vision Pro, terming it “worse in most ways,” The US Sun reported.

In February, the Meta owner expressed his displeasure with the Apple headset, saying that only a few features are “nice”. On February 2, the Apple Vision Pro, entered the VR market mostly dominated by Meta’s Quest.

Zuckerberg denied the idea that VR headsets are solely for gaming, stressing on its broader applications. Mark targeted “Apple fanboys” who responded vigorously to his criticism, upholding his statements and claiming that he did not cross any lines.

Addressing rumors that Meta’s Quest and Vision Pro are same, Zuckerberg explained on his Threads app that while the devices are not the same, he believes the Quest is superior.

Raising apprehensions about the weight, motion blur, and precision inputs of the Vision Pro, Mark asserted that if Meta’s devices display comparable problems in the future, it would mean substantial deterioration.

“If our devices weigh as much as theirs in 3-5 years, or have the motion blur theirs has, or the lack of precision inputs, etc, then that means we’ll have regressed significantly.

“Yes, their resolution is higher, but they paid for that with many other product tradeoffs that make their device worse in most ways. That’s not what we aspire to.”
