Pak Sahafat – Dhaifullah Al-Shami, Minister of Information of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, which is supported by Ansarullah, announced that the visit of the Sana’a delegation to Riyadh was with the mediation of Oman and not at the invitation of Saudi Arabia.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Al-Mayadin network, Al-Shami also said that the visit of Sana’a delegation to Riyadh is to express the goodwill of the Yemeni national salvation government.
He continued: The results of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Muscat show that he requested the Omani government to send the delegation from Sana’a to Riyadh.
Al-Shami added: It is not possible to enter into political issues in Riyadh negotiations without addressing humanitarian issues first.
He stated: Saudi Arabia’s desire to establish relations with Sanaa and Tehran and join BRICS is based on American policy.
Al-Shami’s words come a day after the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday night that it has invited the negotiating team of the National Salvation Government of Yemen to travel to Riyadh with the aim of conducting peace talks.
The official news agency of Saudi Arabia (WAS), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia announced that it has invited a delegation from Sana’a to complete the meetings and talks based on the Saudi initiative announced in March 2021.
Earlier, Mehdi Al-Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, announced the visit of Sana’a delegation to Saudi Arabia with an Omani delegation in Yemen’s peace talks.
