PNN – A Taiwanese microprocessor maker has announced that it will invest $100 billion in the United States by setting up five plants on American soil.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Reuters from Washington, (C.C. Wei) The CEO of TSMC announced a 100 billion dollar plan to build five new plants in the United States yesterday in a meeting attended by US President Donald Trump.
In this meeting with reporters, Trump said: The largest Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing company in the world will invest another 100 billion dollars in the United States, and this important chip manufacturer in the world will provide advanced equipment to strengthen America’s power in the field of artificial intelligence and beyond.

Reuters continued: Trump announced this together with the CEO of this Taiwanese company in the White House and described semiconductor technology as the backbone of the 21st century economy.
According to this report, these factories are supposed to be built in the American soil in the coming years. This issue will strengthen domestic production in America and make the United States less dependent on semiconductors made in Asia.
