According to the announcement of the occupying army, in this incident that happened in the El Zeitoun neighborhood in the center of the Gaza Strip, a Zionist officer with the rank of sergeant named “Avitar Atwar” was killed and at least seven soldiers were seriously injured.
The figures announced by the occupying army are at the same time that the Zionist Kan TV channel announced the number of wounded to be 12 and added that the condition of four wounded is critical.
This network added that the soldiers who were ambushed by the resistance in the El-Zitoun neighborhood of Gaza were busy blowing up buildings and laying the groundwork to expand their influence in the “Netsarim” axis when the resistance’s explosive trap targeted them.
The Zionist Kan network admitted that the resistance’s surveillance cameras were monitoring the occupying soldiers before they were caught in the explosive trap.
This is the second operation of the resistance fighters in the past few hours, which the occupiers refer to as a “hard incident”.
In the previous operation, three Zionist soldiers were killed and according to Hebrew media reports, at least 10 to 15 soldiers were injured.
