PNN – The political and non-constructive resolution of three European countries, England, France, Germany and the United States of America, against the peaceful nuclear program of Iran was approved by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, while 15 countries did not support this document.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Russia, China and Burkina Faso voted against this resolution and South Africa, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, Ghana, Thailand, Algeria, Armenia, Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt abstained.
In addition to the United States, England, France, Germany as the proposer of the resolution, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Ecuador, Ukraine, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Paraguay support this resolution.

In this document, the protectionist political claims rooted in the false documents of the Zionist regime are repeated and Iran is asked to provide credible explanations regarding the “man-made uranium particles in two undeclared places in Iran” and to inform the agency of the place(s) without delay inform the current nuclear material and/or contaminated equipment”
The aforementioned resolution also asks Iran to provide “information, documents and answers needed by the Agency” in this regard and to provide access to the places and materials needed by the Agency’s inspectors. This resolution states: The provision of this information and the provision of access by Iran and the subsequent verification by the Agency based on the NPT Agreement are necessary for the Secretariat to report that there are no remaining issues and there is no need for the Board of Governors to review and act on this matter.
This is while the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency have visited Iran’s nuclear facilities many times and have never found any evidence to show that the country’s peaceful nuclear energy program has deviated towards military purposes. Iran has also continued its cooperation with the Agency within the framework of the Comprehensive Safeguard Agreement and emphasizes that the remaining issues can be resolved with a professional approach and without the agency’s bias.
This is the fifth time after the implementation of the JCPOA and the closure of the safeguard claims case regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program that Western countries have presented a resolution against Iran staged by the Zionist regime.
The Islamic Republic of Iran also warned about the consequences of issuing the resolution during the visit of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency and announced that if the opposite parties take the path of interaction, Iran is also willing to interact, but if they choose the path of confrontation and resolution against Iran, Tehran will also take the necessary decisions.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi also stated in a telephone conversation with the Director General of the Agency on Tuesday night: If the other parties ignore Iran’s goodwill and interactive approach and put non-constructive measures on the agenda in the meeting of the Council of Governors through the issuance of a resolution, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately.
