16% growth of Iran’s exports to Pakistan since the beginning of 2024

PNN – The statistics of the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan show that Iran’s exports to this country have reached 286 million dollars with a growth of 16% in the first quarter of this year.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce announced that the country’s imports from Iran in the first quarter of this year increased by 16% to 286 million dollars.

Pakistan had imported 247 million dollars worth of goods from Iran in the months of January to March last year.

According to this report, Pakistan’s imports from Iran in the third month of 2024 increased by 25% compared to the same period last year and reached 95.6 million dollars. Pakistan also imported 86.2 million dollars of goods from Iran in February and 104.2 million dollars in January.

Iran was the ninth source of Pakistan’s imports in March 2024. China, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia have respectively occupied the first three positions in this respect. Pakistan has imported 1 billion 305 million dollars worth of goods from China this month.

According to this report, in the 12 months of 2023, Pakistan’s total imports from Iran increased by 13% compared to the previous year and reached 944 million dollars. In 2022, Pakistan had imported goods worth 834 million dollars from Iran.

Statistics show that in recent years, Pakistan’s exports to Iran were not more than 200 million dollars, and with a decreasing trend, it has reached zero since 2020.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s imports from Iran have been on the rise. In the 13th government, the import of this country from Iran has increased 2.5 times, from 372 million dollars in 2020 to 944 million dollars in 2023.
