19 terrorist groups split from Al-Qaeda are active in Syria.
According to Al-Ma’uluma, Uday Abdul Hadi, one of the leaders of the Iraqi Fatah coalition, stressed that the 19 terrorist groups in Syria that emerged from Al-Qaeda cannot be trusted.
He added: “We must be realistic about the developments in Syria. 19 groups are active in different cities of the country and have taken over affairs. They emerged from the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and its branch, the Al-Nusra Front.”
Abdul Hadi emphasized: “When we say that these groups are terrorists, we must point out that they are also on the terrorist list in the international arena. We cannot trust these groups because we know their nature.”
He stated: “Iraq must pay special attention to strengthening its borders near Syria. The developments in Syria are taking place in the shadow of the realization of the plans of foreign countries.”
