PNN – The Guardian English newspaper announced in a report that more than 350 Jewish rabbis have signed a letter addressed to US President Donald Trump against his plan to expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Guardian, these 350 Jewish rabbis have described the US President’s plan as a plan for racial cleansing in this region.
In a joint letter to the US government, five Arab countries and a senior official of the Palestinian Authority opposed Trump’s plan to transfer Gaza residents to Egypt and Jordan.
According to Al Arabi Al-Jadeed, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan and “Hussein Al-Sheikh”, the adviser to the head of the Palestinian Authority, sent this letter as reported by “Axios”. These foreign ministers gathered in Cairo.
The foreign ministers of the Arab countries, together with the senior Palestinian official, sent a joint letter to the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which they expressed their opposition to the plan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, which was proposed by US President Donald Trump.
The joint letter of the foreign ministers of these countries and the senior Palestinian official states: The reconstruction of Gaza must be done through the direct participation of the people of Gaza, and the Palestinians will live in their lands and contribute to its reconstruction. They should not be pushed out of their lands during reconstruction and they should actively participate in the reconstruction process with the support of the international community.
The President of the United States previously called for the complete evacuation of the Gaza Strip and the resettlement of Palestinians in neighboring Arab countries.
Referring to the lack of living conditions in Gaza due to extensive destruction, he asked Egypt and Jordan to accept and settle the people of Gaza and reduce the problems of this region through the relocation of residents.
Trump also asked the leaders of Egypt and Jordan in a commanding tone to cooperate to implement this plan.
However, this proposal was strongly opposed by the neighboring countries.
The officials of these countries emphasized that they are against the permanent displacement of the Palestinian people and their forced migration out of their land.
