Supreme Leader Empowers Masoud Pezeshkian as President in Official Decree.
The Supreme Leader of the Revolution executed the presidential decree of Masoud Pezeshkian as the president of the 14th term of Iran’s presidential election.
In the execution ceremony, which is being held in Imam Khomeini’s Hosseiniyeh with the presence of the leader of the Islamic Revolution and a group of officials and agents, the verdict of the nation’s election for the presidency based on paragraph 9 of Article 110 of the Constitution was executed by the religious leader.
Agence France-Presse wrote: Following the early presidential elections of Iran, which were held earlier this month, the ruling of Masoud Pezeshkian as the 9th president of Iran was officially implemented by the leader of the revolution.
Reflecting on this ceremony and the execution of Massoud Al-Madijian’s ruling by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Al-Arabiya wrote that “the new president of Iran will be sworn in on Tuesday in the parliament.”
