PNN – The Iranian embassy in Japan wrote that the temporary ceasefire does not provide a way out of the crisis and keeps the shadow of war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Japan wrote regarding Iran’s reasons for not accepting a temporary ceasefire and insisting on a complete end to the war: Why does Iran have the right to reject a temporary ceasefire and insist that any agreement must lead to a complete and permanent end to the war?
The Iranian embassy cited four key reasons for this refusal, as follows:
- There are two very chaotic and warmongering figures, Trump and Netanyahu, along with their accomplices, who are completely untrustworthy. A temporary ceasefire, in fact, is more vulnerable to their sinister agenda.
- The experience of the June 2025 war of aggression shows that a temporary ceasefire is simply a trap for re-alignment, re-deployment, and resumption of the war. No sane person would be fooled by such a dangerous scenario.
- A temporary ceasefire does not provide a way out of the crisis; rather, it ensures the recurrence of crises at the behest of those who benefit from the conflict.
- Not only Iran, but the entire region and the global economy cannot thrive in a world of uncertainty. Stability and predictability are the pillars of global energy and economic security, and growth cannot be achieved in an unstable and unpredictable environment. Therefore, Iran’s logical insistence contributes to greater stability.
