50 Israeli attacks on Baalbek.
According to the newsletter, Bashir Khadr, the governor of Baalbek, sounded the alarm about the historic Baalbek fortress.
He added: “Baalbek fortress is in danger today, despite diplomatic efforts aimed at keeping ancient sites away from attacks.”
The governor of Baalbek said: “More than 50 attacks were carried out on Hermel this week, and estimates indicate that 70 percent of the residents of the area have left for safe areas.”
It is worth noting that news sources had previously announced that an airstrike by the occupying regime destroyed an Ottoman-era building near the Baalbek temples in eastern Lebanon, which is registered on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
