PNN – 600 professors and academic staff members of “Abd al-Malik Al-Saadi” University of Tetovan province of Morocco demanded the termination of cooperation between this university and Haifa University in the Israeli regime.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting from Rai Alyoum news site, 600 professors, faculty members and administrative staff of Abdulmalek Al-Saadi University in Tetouan province in the northwest (Morocco) signed a petition and sent it to the president of the university demanding the cancellation of the cooperation agreement between this university and Haifa University in the Zionist regime.
The signatories of this petition stated that they want to cancel the agreement signed between this university and the University of Haifa and end any cooperation and normalization of relations with the occupying regime of Israel and all academic institutions affiliated with this regime.
Moroccans academicians added in this petition that their actions and initiatives are in line with solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people against the crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity of the Zionist regime, which has exposed the Palestinian people, especially Gaza, for more than eight months.

They added: The crimes of the Israeli occupying regime’s military deliberately and purposefully targeted all higher education institutions in Gaza and Palestine, and in these crimes university presidents, trustees, university professors and Palestinian students were martyred.
In September 2022, Abdolmalek Al-Saadi State University of Tetouan Morocco and Jaffa University (Haifa) of the Zionist regime signed a cooperation agreement, which includes scientific and educational cooperation.
In the past few days, many cities in the Morocco, including Rabat, the capital of this country, have seen demonstrations in solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza, who have faced an attack by the Israeli army since October 7.
The participants in this demonstration demanded the termination of Morocco’s relations with the Zionist regime, the cessation of the crimes of this regime, and the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
In December 2022, Morocco and the Israeli regime resumed diplomatic relations with the mediation of the United States, which has been met with protests by the people and political parties of this country.
