93 Democratic Representatives: Gaza Charity Foundation Should Be Shut Down.

In a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, 93 Democratic members of Congress called for an investigation into the structure and operations of the Gaza Relief Fund (GHF), saying the organization lacks experience in providing humanitarian aid and that its activities have violated humanitarian principles.

The Gaza Relief Fund, a joint Israeli-American organization that distributes aid to Gaza, has led to the deaths of nearly 1,200 Palestinians. International organizations have called the fund a “death trap.”

The Democrats also called for transparency about the $30 million allocated to the GHF, the mechanism for allocating the funds, and the contracts associated with it. They also raised concerns about reported violence at the GHF’s distribution sites, where more than 1,200 civilians have been killed by US and Israeli gunfire while trying to get food.
