A large and suspicious fire in the oil warehouse of a refinery in Erbil.

The news media in Iraq are reporting a massive fire in the Metin Refinery located in Erbil province, the center of Iraqi Kurdistan, and the efforts of fire brigades to contain and extinguish the terrible fire.

Shafaq News Iraq reported on Thursday morning that during the fire that broke out at the Gower oil refinery in Erbil at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighting teams were dispatched to the site and put it out.

The cause of this fire is still unknown.

According to news sources in Iraq, 15 people were injured during this fire and 12 oil warehouses were burnt during this fire.
