PNN – 71 days after the Al-Aqsa storm war, the ruling coalition in Israel continues to suffer in the polls, and the ruling Likud party has lost half of its votes.
According to the report of the International group of Pakistan News Network, a new survey by the Hebrew-language newspaper Ma’ariv shows: After more than 70 days have passed since the Al-Aqsa storm war, the situation of Netanyahu’s cabinet is still critical, and if elections are held today in the occupied territories, the parties of his coalition cabinet (the cabinet before the war) will take only 43 seats out of 120 seats in the Knesset. In this situation, 77 seats go to the opposition parties of the ruling coalition.
At the time of this survey, the news of the killing of three Israeli prisoners in a mistaken attack by the regime’s army had not yet been published, and the issue of Israeli prisoners was still in a state of stagnation, so the map of the political spectrum does not show much difference compared to Maariv’s previous survey.
This survey shows that the plight of Netanyahu’s Likud party continues despite the ongoing war and ground operations in the Gaza Strip, and this party only holds 17 seats. Among the other parties that were members of Netanyahu’s pre-war coalition, two religious parties, Shas and United Torah Judaism, won 8 and 7 seats, respectively (relatively stable situation). In the extreme right wing, the Jewish Power Party led by Itamar Ben Goyer won 7 seats and Religious Zionism led by Betsalel Smutrich won only 4 seats with difficulty passing the quorum of 3.25%.

On the other side of the field, the government camp coalition led by Benny Gantz is in the lead with 39 seats, and the Yesh Atid party led by Yair Lapid is in the next place with 14 seats. This means that the two main representatives of the middle faction together make 53 seats for themselves in the current situation. Our Home Israel, led by Avigdor Lieberman, has slightly improved its situation by winning 9 seats.
Among the Arab parties, Godash-Taal coalition led by Ayman Oudeh and Ahmed Tayibi have won 5 seats and Ram Party led by Mansour Abbas have won 5 seats. The Nationalist Party of Beled remained below the threshold with 1.8 percent of the votes.
Among the left-wing parties, the Murts Party has won 5 seats and the Labor Party, with 2.2% below the quota, has failed to enter the parliament. In this way, it seems that the decline of the right wing has not been able to revive the left wing and the difficult situation of the leftists in Israel continues.
In this survey, the participants were once again asked about the most suitable personality for the prime minister of Israel; 51% of the participants chose Benny Gantz and 31% voted for Netanyahu. 18 percent have chosen the option of not knowing. Of course, this survey does not provide information about winning the remaining 18 percent on the chart in favor of the two main candidates. The October 7 war seems to have conquered Netanyahu’s last remaining bastion, which was the lead in head-to-head polls with his opposition figures for the prime ministership.
