PNN – The Zionist regime is seeking to expel UN-affiliated forces from southern Lebanon by preparing the ground for a recurring scenario.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Israeli Army Radio claimed that Tel Aviv is concerned about the regime’s leaking of sensitive and important military information to Hezbollah through UN peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon.

A high-ranking military source in the Israeli regime claimed that UNIFIL forces are causing instability in the region and are not participating in the process of disarming Hezbollah.

He added that the situation will improve with the withdrawal of these forces from the region!

This is the same scenario that the Zionist regime implemented in the Gaza Strip: accusing institutions and forces active in the field of human rights of collaborating with Hamas and limiting their activities in Gaza or expelling these forces from the region.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) was among these institutions that were accused of collaborating with Hamas so that it could no longer continue its humanitarian missions in Gaza.

It should be noted that UNIFIL had previously criticized the Israeli regime’s aggression against Lebanon and the occupiers’ repeated violations of the ceasefire.
