A source quoted from “Macron”: Ukraine may fall soon.
According to Sputnik, the American media quoted a source who participated in the meeting of French President Emmanuel Macron with the country’s politicians at the Elysee Palace and reported: Macron emphasized in this meeting that Ukraine may fall soon.
This source, who asked not to be named, quoted Macron as saying in the said meeting: “Ukraine may fall very quickly.”
These words were raised in the context of the upcoming European Parliament elections.
Previously, Pyotr Tolstoy, the Deputy Speaker of the Russian Parliament (State Duma), in response to France’s action to transfer military forces to Ukraine, emphasized that “Russian military forces will eliminate all French soldiers in Ukraine.”
Pointing out that “out of a total of 367 French mercenaries who entered Ukraine before, 147 have been killed,” he said: “We will kill all the French soldiers who come to Ukraine.”
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine. Commenting on this matter, Macron later said that he spoke fully consciously about the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine and that he weighed his words and announced them carefully.
On Tuesday, Sergei Naryshkin, director of Russia’s foreign intelligence service, announced that Moscow had information indicating that France was preparing to send a military unit to Ukraine.
