A UN official’s account of the moment of Tel Aviv’s brutal attack on Yemen.

According to Al-Mayadeen, Julian Hernes, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, stressed that he was present at Sanaa airport during the Israeli attack.

He added: This very sensitive area is of particular importance for delivering humanitarian aid to Yemen. The International Red Cross uses Sanaa airport to deliver this aid, and this airport has civilian uses.

Hernes emphasized that the parties to the conflict should not attack civilian targets. We warn against stopping humanitarian operations following the targeting of this airport.

He emphasized that he was present at Sanaa airport during the brutal Israeli aggression, along with Tedros Adhanom, Director-General of the World Health Organization, and 18 other UN members.

Hernes added: The situation became more terrifying when a civilian plane carrying hundreds of Yemenis was landing at the airport. These attacks took place 300 meters north and south of the location where our team was stationed.
