A Zionist general confesses to killing most of the Israeli hostages.
“Nitsan Alon,” a retired general of the Israeli army and former head of the army’s headquarters for dealing with hostages and missing persons, stated in a controversial interview with the Hebrew-language newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” that most of the Israeli prisoners in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip were not killed by the Hamas movement, but by Israeli army fire.
The retired general of the Israeli army considered the deaths of a large number of Israeli prisoners “a direct result of the information gaps and chaos after the October 7, 2023, attack,” and said: “In many cases, the Israeli army’s estimates of the locations of Israeli prisoners are not accurate due to their constant movement.”
He emphasized: “Many of the hostages were transferred to Gaza alive, but later died during the Israeli army’s attacks and ground battles in Jabalia.”
Since the ceasefire in Gaza began, Hamas has returned all 20 live prisoners and 26 bodies in exchange for the release of about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, but the bodies of two other dead prisoners, an Israeli police officer and a Thai worker, are said to still be in Gaza.
According to IRNA, the Israeli regime launched the war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, with the two main goals of eliminating the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners from the region, but failed to achieve these goals and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.
On Thursday, the Hamas movement officially announced the achievement of an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners.
The Israeli army also officially announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon, October 18, and announced: According to the agreement, Israeli forces will remain stationed in certain areas of the Gaza Strip, and movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip will be permitted via Al-Rashid Street and Salahuddin Road.
This is while the Zionist regime continues to obstruct the implementation of the provisions of the first phase of the ceasefire and its repeated violations.
