ABC: No agreement on Hamas disarmament and future governance of Gaza

PNN – ABC News, citing informed sources, announced that the agreement to halt the war in Gaza has not yet included an agreement on the disarmament of Hamas and the future sovereignty of Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, ABC reported on Thursday, citing informed officials, that at least two key parts of the Gaza ceasefire agreement have yet to be agreed upon by the parties: that the occupying Zionist military withdraw their forces to the “agreed line” to prepare the ground for the release of prisoners, and second, that all prisoners will be released within 72 hours.

ABC, citing informed sources, added: However, the status of other points of the plan, such as requiring Hamas to disarm and hand over the Gaza government to a temporary transitional body under foreign management, as well as requiring Israel to completely withdraw its army from the Gaza Strip, is still unclear and is scheduled to be discussed in the next stages of the negotiations.
