PNN – The imprisoned leader of Türkiye’s Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Ocalan announced that “negotiations” will ensure a transition from the politics of violence to the politics of democracy.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Abdullah Ocalan, leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), announced in a message that the stage we have gone through has proven our power to negotiate. “Negotiation” ensures the transition from the politics of violence to the politics of democracy.

According to Al-Mayadeen, he said: The party’s decisions to dissolve itself and end the strategy of armed struggle were not a mere formal and practical action, but rather demonstrated a mental cleansing of violence and a clear preference for politics.

Ocalan added: It is not possible to imagine Turks separate from Kurds or Kurds separate from Turks. The main texts at the stage of the establishment of the republic expressed the unity of Turkey and Kurds. Our request on February 27 to dissolve the party was an attempt to revive the spirit of unity.
