PNN – In the latest joint poll by Reuters and Ipsos Institute, Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States and the candidate of the Democratic Party, has won the election debate with Donald Trump, the former president of the United States and the candidate of the Republican Party in the presidential elections of the United States.
According to Pakistan News Network’s Friday morning report, quoted by Reuters, Participants in the latest poll, jointly conducted by Reuters/Ipsos and published on the same day, answered questions and a majority said they thought Harris would win the first election debate against Trump.
The results of the Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that after the first election debate between Harris and Trump, the vice president of the United States was ahead of the former president of the United States by 47 percent to 42 percent, i.e. by 5 percentage points.

According to the results of this poll, 52 percent of American voters participating in it consider Trump too old to be the head of the American government, while only 7 percent of them had the same opinion about Harris.
The results of the poll showed that the participants gave Harris better marks than Trump regarding the way they behaved during the election debate. So that 56 percent of them said that the vice president of the United States behaved more dignified than his opponent during this debate, while only 24 percent of them had the same opinion about the former president of the United States.
The poll was conducted nationally and included 1,690 eligible American adults to vote in the US presidential election from across the country.
Americans will go to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 to elect the next president of the United States. The winner of this election will start the four-year presidential term from January 2025.
