Accusing journalists in Gaza of “terrorism” puts their lives at risk

PNN – The International Federation of Journalists called for an end to the baseless and dangerous accusations of the Zionist regime against journalists in Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip.

According to Pakistan News Network’s report on Wednesday, quoting Palestine El-Yum, this federation emphasized: Israel’s confrontation with the media and its reference to the complicity of Gazan journalists with terrorism puts their lives in danger.

In this regard, the Committee to Support Palestinian Journalists condemned the action of the Zionist regime in destroying the image of Palestinian journalists by attributing baseless accusations of terrorism to them.

This committee also stated: The actions of the Zionist regime in the field of accusing journalists will endanger their lives and weaken the trust of public opinion in the media.

The Committee to Support Palestinian Journalists pointed out that the Zionist regime should end the propaganda to destroy the image of journalists and allow an independent international investigation into their killing in Gaza.

This committee emphasized: The Israeli regime must end its unproven claims that the journalists who are martyred by the Zionist regime are terrorists.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has launched a devastating war against the Gaza Strip, which has led to the martyrdom of nearly 40,000 people, the wounding of more than 92,000 people, the disappearance of 10,000 people, and the forced migration of nearly 2 million residents of this area.

A few days ago, following the publication of the news of the martyrdom of “Palestine” TV channel reporter “Tamim Mu’amer” and “Al-Aqsa TV channel” reporter “Abdullah Al-Sousi”, it was announced that the number of media martyrs since the start of the Zionist regime’s attack on the Gaza Strip has reached 168 people.
