Aid to Gaza: Israel’s Deceptive Plan to Expand Brutality’
After the publication of painful images of the hunger of the people of Gaza and the successive deaths of civilians, especially children, on the way to obtain a morsel of bread, the Zionist regime, under pressure from world public opinion, was forced to stage a show of aid entering Gaza by airdropping aid or by the limited entry of trucks carrying food aid over the past few days.
However, amidst this showy maneuver, which is being used as a propaganda tool, the Zionists are threatening to expand the aggression, divide the Gaza Strip and annex it.
The Zionists’ ridiculous show of aid entering Gaza
Despite repeated attempts by the Egyptian and some Arab media to exaggerate the entry of food aid into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, the realities on the ground show a completely different picture. The arrival of aid with the logos of Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE alongside the logo of the Egyptian Red Crescent was the result of previous agreements to highlight the issue of aid entering Gaza in the media, without having any real impact on solving the hunger and famine crisis in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the situation worsened when local and tribal groups that were trying to secure the passage of trucks were bombed by Israeli warplanes, which led to some criminal gangs, including bandits and collaborators with the Israeli army, taking control of the trucks and looting their cargo.
In this regard, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported, citing Egyptian sources, that the aid that the Egyptians had collected for the Gaza Strip was looted on its way to the Strip and did not reach its destination. Also, the shipments that have recently entered Gaza were limited to basic food items and their quantity was very small. This clearly shows the Zionists’ desire to continue and intensify the food crisis in the Gaza Strip and use it as a tool of continuous pressure.
