Pak Sahafat – The deputy secretary general of the Hamas movement considered the purpose of starting the “Al-Aqsa Storm” battle to be a response to the crimes of the Zionist regime and an operation to support the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian prisoners.
According to the report of Pak Sahafat News Agency, Saleh Al-Aroori, the Deputy Secretary General of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement in the West Bank of Palestine, spoke about the goals and dimensions of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” battle.
According to the report of “Al-Mayadeen” website, Al-Arouri said: “The Battle of Storm Al-Aqsa was started with the aim of managing the Zionist enemy and responding to the crimes of this occupying regime.”
The Deputy Secretary General of Hamas emphasized: Mujahideen in the Gaza Strip have started a large-scale operation with the aim of defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and freeing the prisoners.

Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, also said about this operation: “This storm started from Gaza and will spread to the West Bank and outside the country and all the places where our people and nation are present.”

At the same time as this attack, Hamas fighters penetrated the Zionist settlements around the Gaza Strip and captured some Zionist soldiers and took some areas under their control.
Following the start of this operation, other Palestinian resistance groups declared their full support for Hamas and announced that they will fight shoulder to shoulder with Hamas fighters.
