Al-Barghouthi: There is an Arab consensus against expelling Palestinians.
According to the Shehab News Agency, Mustafa al-Barghouthi, Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Movement, said: The results and outcomes of the Arab leaders’ conference can be assessed as positive because it sent messages to the US government and the occupation regime that there is an Arab consensus in opposing the expulsion and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.
He added: We hoped that the final statement of the Arab leaders would include an Arab resolution to end the siege on the Gaza Strip using clear and specific tools and mechanisms.
Al-Barghouthi emphasized: The Arab countries also did not specify their actions and plans to confront the Zionist actions in the event of continued violations of the prisoner exchange agreement and the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the resumption of the war against the residents of this area.
