Al-Duweiri stated: Hamas’ success in deceiving Tel Aviv on 3 important levels

Al-Duweiri stated: Hamas’ success in deceiving Tel Aviv on 3 important levels.

According to Al Jazeera, Brigadier General Fayez Al-Duwairi, a military affairs expert, emphasized that the research conducted by the Israeli army regarding Operation Al-Aqsa Storm indicates that the Hamas movement succeeded in deceiving the Zionist occupiers at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.

He added: “Therefore, the Israeli army has failed on three levels. Al-Aqsa Storm was a strategic operation that, despite some signs, was not predicted. Tel Aviv openly speaks of the collapse of the Gaza army in the first hours of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. According to the research conducted, Yahya Al-Sinwar, the martyred commander of the Hamas movement, had been planning this operation since 2017.

Al-Duwairi emphasized: “The Israeli regime did not expect Hamas to use more than three thousand rockets in the first moments of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. At the tactical level, the occupiers did not expect Hamas forces to be able to reach positions such as Base 8200. The deception operation carried out against the Zionist military had previously taken place on the Egyptian front during the October 1973 war.

He stated: The Zionist regime considered Gaza as its second front and focused more on Iran. The blockade of the Gaza Strip since 2006 and Hezbollah’s greater power over Hamas had made Tel Aviv comfortable with this front. The regime thought that Hamas was a black box that had no information about Tel Aviv.

Al-Duweiri added: The results of these investigations will have far-reaching consequences for the structure of the Zionist occupying army in the wake of the chain resignations among Zionist commanders.
