Al-Jolani: Millions of Syrian refugees will return to the country within the next 2 years.

According to Al Jazeera, the unrest in Syria began in 2011 and eventually, with widespread foreign intervention and the emergence of numerous terrorist groups, millions of civilians in the country were displaced and fled abroad. Now, with the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the reigns of Abu Muhammad al-Julani have fallen into the hands of the terrorist regime.

Accordingly, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the terrorist group Tahrir al-Sham, announced: “We estimate that 14 million Syrian refugees inside and outside the country will return to their homes in the next two years.”

He added: “I am sure that a significant part of the Syrian refugees will return home and only one to one and a half million refugees will remain abroad. We are seeking to establish strong civil institutions in the country because if the government is weak, citizens cannot be strong.”

Finally, al-Julani expressed his hope that Tahrir al-Sham would succeed in forming a stable government in Syria. We are seeking victory without revenge, reconciliation efforts, and a general amnesty.

According to Mehr, the Syrian war has displaced 14 million Syrians from their homes, with more than 6 million fleeing to other countries.
