Al-Jolani: Responsibility for Syria’s interim administration lies with former prime minister.
According to Al Jazeera, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, whose real name is Ahmed al-Shara, the head of the terrorist group Tahrir al-Sham, emphasized in statements that the former Syrian prime minister will remain responsible for Syrian affairs and that government institutions will continue to function.
He continued that the forces of this front have been prohibited from approaching public and government institutions and centers.
Al-Julani also announced a ban on firing aerial fire.
After taking control of Damascus, the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham released all prisoners in Saydnaya prison, the largest prison in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Hours ago, a Syrian military source told Reuters that the Syrian army command had notified the “fall of the Bashar al-Assad government” to army officers and commanders.
