Al-Jolani’s message to Syrian soldiers: Those who torture Syrians will be tried.
According to Al Jazeera Qatar, Ahmed al-Shara, the commander-in-chief of the operations room of the terrorists of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, known as Abu Muhammad al-Julani, said in a statement: “We will spare no effort to prosecute officers who were involved in torturing people.”
He also said that we will consider rewards for providing information about the perpetrators of war crimes.
Al-Julani added: “We will publish a list of those involved in torturing the Syrian people and emphasize that war criminals will be prosecuted in any country they flee to.”
He said: “Our emphasis was that we will tolerate those whose hands are not stained with the blood of the Syrian people, but we will never allow the blood of martyrs to be wasted or the rights of prisoners to be forgotten.”
